Scholarships for Lifestyle Coach Training Workshops
The Diabetes Prevention Support Center (DPSC) is pleased to offer scholarships for health providers who are interested in attending a Group Lifestyle Balance™ Lifestyle Coach training workshop. Scholarship recipients will be expected to provide the DPSC with a brief report regarding Group Lifestyle Balance™ program implementation in their community one year from completion of training.
- The scholarship award will cover the full cost of the two-day training workshop*
- Application for scholarship is required
- Any health provider with or without previous lifestyle coaching experience and who is affiliated with a non-profit organization may apply
*Travel-related costs are not covered
Applications will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Clearly described plan for Group Lifestyle Balance™ program delivery
- Setting and proposed timeline for implementation
- Evidence of need for assistance with cost of training
